Yes, of course! If you are traveling solo, we will match
you up with a great roommate. Many friendships have been
formed at Kelea.
|
Although Kelea has surfboards for you to choose from, if
you are more comfortable with your own board, please bring
it along. Don't forget that airlines charge extra for surfboards.
|
Here are some suggestions: several swim suits, sunscreen,
running shoes, hiking and running shorts, hat for sun protection,
sandals, light comfy pajamas, sundress, personal toiletries.
Kelea provides beach and bath towels, all surf and sporting
equipment as well as spa products.
|
Mostly in the wintertime. Kelea is open during February,
March and April when the surf is calmer. Even during big
swells our surf spot is still ideal for beginners.
|
No problem! We'll start with the basics and you'll be riding
waves by the end of the week.
|
Kelea Surf Spa only operates during February, March and
April due to the wave cycles. In winter, the waves on the
north shore of Oahu are for experts only, and in the summer,
the ocean is flat as a lake. In the springtime, the waves
are perfect for beginner / intermediate surfers.
|
If you would like to do some sightseeing on the island
or check out the nightlife in Waikiki, we recommend you rent
your own car.
|
Yes, guests must be 18 years or older to attend Kelea.
